International Yoga Day 2020

International Yoga Day was observed on 21st June of every year across the globe. The yoga day came into existence in 2015 after being declared unanimously by the United National General Assembly (UNGA). Yoga is a group of physical, mental and spiritual practise or disciplines that originated in the ancient India. Yoga also helps in establishing harmony between body and the mind of an individual. This is one of the six Astika schools of Hindu philosophical traditions. Due to Corona Virus pandemic and to ensure lockdown limitation and social distancing this International Yoga Day of this year have been pushed indoors. The theme of this year International Yoga Day is “Yoga at Home and Yoga with Family”.
