Difference between On-page SEO and Off-page SEO Techniques

SEO is defined as a process of improving the quality and quantity of the website traffic from various search engines. SEO mainly target on the unpaid traffic rather than the direct traffic or paid traffic. Basically there are two main buckets that search engine look at while evaluating your website as compared to other websites on the web –

. Off-page SEO
On-page SEO – On-page SEO is defined as a technique which is used to optimize the individual webpages so as to rank higher and to earn more relevant traffic from various search engines. In search engine optimization such as Google, Yahoo, Bing on-page optimization refers to a factor that has an effect on your website and web pages listing in a natural search results.
Off-page SEO – Off-page SEO is defined as a technique which is used to improve the position of a website in a search engine results page (SERPS). Many people associate off-page SEO with the link building but it is not. Basically, off-page SEO is also used in the promotion methods such as blogging, website designing, social media bookmarking etc.

. On-page SEO includes providing the good content, good keyword selection, putting keyword on correct places, giving appropriate title for every pages etc. While the Off-page SEO includes the link building, increasing link popularity, search engine, link exchange etc.
. In On-page SEO we analyze the complete website whereas in Off-page SEO we promote the website.
. In On-page SEO we use the internal linking technique to link with the other pages of the website while in the Off-page SEO we use the direct linking technique to link with the other pages of the website.
